These terms and conditions will apply to your access and use of our website keralamuseum.org. This website is operated by Kerala Museum run by the Madhavan Nayar Foundation, hereinafter referred to as MNF. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Kerala Museum and MNF.
By using our website, you accept that you will be bound to the terms and conditions of use in full. If you do not agree to any of these terms and conditions, you must not access, and/or use our website. The Kerala Museum, MNF operates keralamuseum.org. Our principal place of business is at Pathadipalam, Edappally, Kochi, Kerala, India – 682024. If you have any questions, you may contact us.
Kerala Museum and MNF may change these terms from time to time so we recommend that you should check them regularly. The date of the last update and/or amendment will always be stated at the bottom of these terms. Your continued use of keralamuseum.org will be deemed acceptance of the updated or amended terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should cease using this website.
Until you are 18 years old, by using our online services, you certify that your parents have or legal guardian has consented to your use and agree to these terms on your behalf. Parental discretion is advised and we recommend that you review these terms with your parents/guardian before using our website. We may require your parents or legal guardian to provide a written acknowledgement of these terms on your behalf before we provide you with part or all of our online services.
The personal details you submit to Kerala Museum and MNF will only be used for the specified purposes indicated to you and will not be passed onto unauthorised third parties without your explicit consent. These are the Terms and Conditions which govern each use you make of the donation payment services provided through the Website.
These Terms and Conditions apply separately to every single donation that you make. Unless specified otherwise as in the case of Recurring Donations (point 6 below), they do not form a contract allowing for future or successive transactions to be set up. By confirming that you wish to donate on the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions for that donation.
The donation services
We will use your donation at our discretion but within our stated charitable objectives.
All payments through the Website are to be made by payment card or via RazorPay.
Once you confirm to us through the Website that you wish to proceed with your donation, your transaction will be processed through our payment services provider, RazorPay. By confirming that you wish to proceed with your donation, you authorise RazorPay to request funds from your credit, debit, or card provider.
Unauthorised card use – If you become aware of fraudulent use of your card, or if it is lost or stolen, you must notify your card provider.
Information from you – Before we can process a donation, you must provide us with
(i) your name, address and email address; and
(ii) details of the credit or debit card that you wish to use to fund the donation
(iii) your PAN information for the 80G Income Tax deduction. We will use this information to process your donation. It is your responsibility to ensure you have provided us with the correct information.
(iv) When you submit your payment details, these details will be transferred to our payment provider, RazorPay, and your payment data will be collected and processed securely by them. You should make sure that you are aware of RazorPay’s terms and conditions, which are different from ours, to ensure that you are comfortable with how they will process your data before you donate.
Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Donation Payment Terms and Conditions. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you also agree to how we use and protect your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.
If you make an error in the amount of your donation, you may contact us either by email at info@keralamuseum.org, by phone at +91 8129051880 within three days, and a full refund will be made to you.
These Donation Payment Terms and Conditions will only apply to successive donations made through the Website where you have set up a recurring donation. When you set up a recurring donation, you will be scheduling a series of donations to be made on a fixed date in a cycle or plan of your choice until further notice. You agree that these Terms and Conditions will apply to each of the donations in that series.
By confirming that you wish to proceed with a recurring donation, you authorise our payment service provider RazorPay to request funds from your credit or debit card on the day of each month that you set.
To cancel your recurring donation, please contact us at info@keralamuseum.org.
Tickets are valid for the date and time stated. Please check your tickets on receipt as mistakes cannot always be rectified
Tickets are for personal use and may not be resold or exchanged, nor money refunded
There is no re-admission to the event or exhibition
Kerala Museum reserves the right to refuse admission or terminate a visit
By attending an event or exhibition, ticket holders consent to be photographed or video recorded.
All fees and charges are quoted and billed in Indian Rupees unless otherwise noted.
Billing inquiries and disputes should be brought to the Kerala Museum, MNF’s attention within 30 days of the invoice/bill date. Failure to do so will be deemed to be an admission that the invoice/bill and charges are accurate.
Any applications or requests for services will be declined if payment cannot be successfully processed within 72 hours of the order.
Kerala Museum and MNF reserve the right to modify service fees and rates, effective upon posting on the Kerala Museum website or on this Agreement.
Kerala Museum and MNF accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever arising from or in any way connected with the use of this Website or its content.
While we make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and updated information on the Website, we make no warranties or representations concerning the Website’s content.
In particular, neither Kerala Museum nor MNF will be liable for the accuracy, completeness, adequacy, timeliness, or comprehensiveness of the information contained on the Website.
The information may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors.
Kerala Museum and MNF reserve the right to make changes, corrections and improvements to the information and to the products and programmes described in such information at any time without notice.
