The August screening at the #ALTEFF #FilmClub in #Kochi brings you a cinematically brilliant film, The Giants.
Synopsis:
The Giants portrays the deep connection between trees and humans through the life of Australian environmental hero and the Australian parliament’s first openly gay member, Bob Brown. The film follows Brown’s journey from a passionate advocate to a central figure in green politics, intertwining his story with the life cycle of the ancient trees he protects. This epic and cinematic film highlights Brown’s activism and sparks urgent conversations about forest preservation and environmental rights.
