Janal Talks: Evergreen Histories: Malayalees Cinematic Museums

This is a lecture designed to extrapolate the varied and minutest details of the past in some malayalam movies of the 1960s and 70s.
Dr Sebastian Joseph, a triple gold medalist in history, is an environmental historian with an epistemological positioning anchored in the use of methods that transcends disciplinary boundaries. Of late he specialises in film history where the thrust is on historical films and movies that collectively represent history in one way or other. He is currently the General Secretary of Kerala History Congress and is also a consultant Historian for the Janal project with Kerala Museum.
