What began as an unexpected encounter with Kerala’s architectural traditions during an internship in Ahmedabad in 1995 evolved into a personal and professional journey rooted in place, people, and craft.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Vinod Kumar M.M. is an architect based in Thrissur, Kerala. He has been involved in several significant conservation projects across the state, in addition to ecological restoration initiatives. 

His work also extends to curating festivals and conducting workshops. A two-time recipient of the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards, he currently serves as the Convenor of the INTACH Thrissur Chapter.
